Hippocratic Oath Big Band Performance

Welcome to the Hippocratic Oath Big Band—the longest performing community dance band in Calgary. Since 1948 we have entertained Calgary and many Southern Alberta audiences. The band performs big band chart selections from the 1940s to 2024 for your dancing and listening pleasure. Oldies include songs by Basie, Ellington, Mancini, Sinatra and Glen Miller. We have added many great songs to our repertoire by such entertainers as the Beatles, Herbie Hancock, Mariah Carey, Neil Hefti, Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder and Freddie Mercury. In addition, we are now performing new Canadian compositions by Hugh Fraser (Vancouver) and Dean MacNeil (Saskatoon)
