The Hangar Flight Museum in Calgary, Alberta presents a hands-on aviation program exploring early bush planes and pilots in Canada.
Discover the daring spirit of Canada’s early aviators through A New Frontier: Early Bush Planes and Pilots. This engaging 30-minute experience explores how bush pilots connected remote communities, delivered vital supplies, and navigated challenging landscapes.
Following a short interpretive presentation, participants can get up close with real artifacts from the museum’s collection. With time for questions and discussion, the program offers an interactive experience for visitors of all ages.
Taking place April 3, 2026 at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm in the Main Hangar, this program is included with admission and free for members.
