Global Running Day '26

Come run or walk with us, shake out your post-marathon weekend legs, win prizes, and soak up Global Running Day vibes at Confederation Park. Join us at Confederation Park for a Global Running Day evening built around movement, community, and connection. We’ll kick things off with an easy and social 5km social run that is open to all paces and experience levels. Come solo, bring your people, or meet some new ones when you get there. We’ll also have a walking group because we know a lot of you will be coming off the Calgary Marathon Race Weekend and may just want to move a little, shake the legs out, and soak up the vibes. Afterward, stick around for some fun activations, including a beaded shoe clip station, heat pressing, photo ops, and a raffle in support of Calgary Adapted Hub. We’ll also have some incredible prizes from our community partners - lululemon, Garmin, Run Calgary, Shoks, MyoDetox, Relentless 24, Blue Mountain Tattoo, Motivated in Motivation, Manik Botanik and more! There will be lots of chances to take home something fun while supporting a really meaningful cause.
