About the event
Ready to cultivate that green thumb? Perennial Planters is for anyone looking to learn all about building a thriving planter here in Calgary. Guided by Lougheed House Head Gardener Anne Garth, the event will explore the benefits of bringing perennial blooms to your backyard or balcony, from being drought conscious to helping our native bees thrive. This is a hands-on workshop, so be sure to bring your own gardening gloves if you want them. Each participant will fill a 21-inch planter under Anne’s instruction and bring it home with them at the end of the workshop.
This event is funded by the City of Calgary Downtown in Motion Grant.
