From Field to Faith: Defining Rest through Labor Presented by Rabbi Nisan Andrews

Born in Canada and raised in Calgary, Rabbi Andrews attended Yeshiva in Chicago, then served congregations in Milwaukee, London, and Allentown, Pennsylvania. He has returned with his wife and family to act as Rabbi of the House of Jacob Mikveh Israel. Rabbi Andrews will present the Jewish concept of “rest” required for the Sabbath, and its relationship with the farming lives of the Montefiore Colony residents who prayed in the Synagogue which is now at Heritage Park.
