About the event
FLC Acting Club's 2026 Christmas Showcase will feature music, singing, stand-up comedy and two one-act plays all with a Christmas theme.
The first play, Scrooge Has Left the Building written by Pat Cook and directed by Kelly Keiran, recounts the story of Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future as they confront Ebenezer in an attempt to change his ways.
The second play, Bestie, written by local playwright Iva Polansky and directed by Tara Rorke, is about an older couple who receive an AI smart home companion from their son for Christmas. It turns out the AI companion is a little too smart for their comfort.
