Upcycled Tote Workshop Give new life to old fabrics and create a one-of-a-kind tote you’ll actually use. In this Craft & Connect workshop, you’ll transform old t-shirts or other well-loved fabrics into a custom-designed tote using simple, beginner-friendly techniques. This is a creative, low-pressure way to reuse materials you already have—whether that’s an old shirt, a piece you no longer wear, or something you’ve been meaning to repurpose. You’ll explore simple layout and layering techniques to design a tote that feels fresh, modern, and completely your own. No sewing experience is needed. This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed to be a relaxed, social creative experience. Whether you come with friends or on your own, you’ll enjoy a welcoming atmosphere and leave with something practical and unique. You’ll leave with: A custom tote bag made using your upcycled fabric. What’s Included These materials are provided: • canvas tote bag • adhesives and tools • step-by-step guidance Bring with you: • an old t-shirt, fabric, or clothing you’re ready to give new life to—baby or kids’ pieces work great for this. Food & Drinks This workshop takes place at Cornerstone Cafe which is a licensed venue, so you can enjoy food and drinks while you create.
