Popular bluegrass, country, and folk music from 50's to today.
Three different acts:

- 4-piece bluegrass band - 9th Ave All-Stars
- DUO - Fiddle and Banjo
Calgary-born musician and a mainstay of the Calgary Roots and Bluegrass scene for decades. Al has been playing guitar, banjo and dobro in duos, trios and bands: Hothouse Bluegrass Band (opened for Alison Krauss in Calgary) and Wheatland County (kicked off the very first Edmonton Folk Festival in 1978) to name a few.
In April 2020, Al released a solo recording project, The Boathouse Demo Tapes, of mostly original vocals and instrumentals.
