AUArts Summer Residency Exhibition Opening Reception

The exhibition is a group show held in partnership with the Contextural Fibre Arts Society.

Residents work on research projects during the 10-week residency. They have access to a home studio, studio facilities, Residency Facilitator programs, visiting artists, studio visits, and group critiques to enrich the studio experience.

The exhibition is a group show held in partnership with the Contextural Fibre Arts Society, which also conducts a residency at the University during the summer. The exhibition is a capstone project for the residency intended to foster community, engagement and collaboration with all participating residents. Works displayed may be experimental, exploratory, still in progress or finished works.
