All Alberta Night at the Rocky Mountain Listening Room

Small venue concert with Christie J Simmons, Toni Vere, Matt Beatty. All Alberta Night at the Rocky Mountain Listening Room.

The Rocky Mountain Listening Room is a music venue that appreciates music by offering a listening environment to artists. (Think quiet like an art gallery!)

Calgary, Alberta’s Christie J Simmons crafts elegant, acoustic songs that balance clarity with poetic edge. Her background in classical flute, early music, and Highland bagpipes informs a sound that is grounded yet unexpected. Drawing inspiration from the vast prairie sky and the fragile courage of being human, she writes with the insight of a storyteller and the heart of a poet. Her albums Winnie’s Song and Learn You by Heart reveal her gift for quiet intensity and lyrical grace.
