After Hours Artist Talk: Because the Sun: L.T. Leif shares Music and Visuals from the North

Join us at the AFA art house for a free night of music and artist interaction as we welcome multidisciplinary artist, LT Leif, as they come home for the Calgary Folk Music Festival. They will spend time talking about their practices and artistic journey. We look forward to seeing you there!

About the Artist

L.T. Leif is a musician and interdisciplinary artist currently based in Scotland, working with music, performance, photography, community events, and tiny drawings. Their work explores Northern ecologies, connection with land and place, and radical forms of desire. Their most recent album (Come Back to Me, but Lightly) was centered on the relationship between the human body and the sun, informed by time spent working in Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Greenland. Leif is also highly active as a community artist, organizing events and working collaboratively in interdisciplinary and often experimental ways to build the public realm. They were born and raised in Calgary, and are delighted to be home.
