About the event
Join us for an AFA art house After Hours fireside-style conversation with mother and daughter artists Maureen Callihoo and Kiona Callihoo Ligtvoet on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 7 to 8 pm. Centered around care, intergenerational relationships, storytelling, and lived experience, this evening program will focus on how family, memory, and responsibility can shape artistic practice while recognizing that experiences of family, parenthood, and motherhood are multi-layered.
