 of the Earth: Berta Cáceres\, Paulo Paulino Guajajara\, and Aldo Zamora ga
 ve their lives defending the Earth. These environmental activists were brut
 ally murdered in Latin America for standing up to the interests of large mu
 ltinational corporations and their local allies. Who is behind these crimes
 \, and why do they enjoy near-total impunity? What consequences does this v
 iolence have for the planet and the future of humanity?\nCULTURE IN ACTION:
  This year marks the inaugural year of CJFF's Culture in Action initiative\
 , filling The Confluence with art and performance for all three days of the
