 i Rachmaninoff wrote two masterpieces for two pianos: Suite No. 1\, Op. 5 (
 "Fantaisie-Tableaux") composed in 1893\, and Suite No. 2\, Op. 17 composed 
 in 1901. Together\, they track his meteoric early rise\, a subsequent deep 
 psychological collapse\, and his triumphant creative rebirth. \n\nThese are
  works of real passion and power\, and they demand two musicians who think
