SUMMARY:Free Throw & Microwave
DESCRIPTION:Free Throw & Microwave bring their tour to The Palace on Wednes
day\, October 28th with special guest Carly Cosgrove!\n\nFormed in Nashvill
e in 2012\, Free Throw has cemented their place as a foundational powerhous
e of modern indie-punk and Midwest emo. The quintet—led by vocalist Cory
 Castro—is celebrated for their raw\, open-hearted lyricism and high-energ
y catharsis. Their music perfectly balances gritty\, anthemic pop-punk hook
s with intense\, post-hardcore vocal bursts and intricate guitar work. \n\n
Hailing from Atlanta\, Microwave has spent over a decade carving out a uniq
ue and unpredictable lane in the alternative rock scene. Operating as a pow
er trio\, the band masterfully blends the loud-quiet dynamics of ’90s gru
nge\, the raw vulnerability of emo\, and the polished hooks of indie pop.\n
