DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the launch of Alice Major's newest title\, T
riangularity\, coming out with University of Alberta Press this October. Sh
e will be joined for an evening of reading and discussion by local author J

oin them.\n\nAbout the authors: \n\nAlice Major has published 12 poetry col
lections as well as a book of essays\, Intersecting Sets: A Poet Looks at S
cience (UAlberta Press). Her awards include the Lieutenant-Governor of Albe
rta's Distinguished Artist medal.\n\nJulie Sedivy has taught linguistics an
d psychology at Brown University and the University of Calgary. She is the
author of Memory Speaks: On Losing and Reclaiming Language and Self and Lan
guage in Mind: An Introduction to Psycholinguistics\, as well as the coauth
or of Sold on Language: How Advertisers Talk to You and What This Says Abou
 t You. She lives in Calgary\, Canada.\n\nhttps://www.visitcalgary.com/event
