SUMMARY:ODE | Compagnie Catherine Gaudet
DESCRIPTION:ODE is a pop-pagan performance wrapped in a love letter to the
collective. A contemporary ritual where bodies\, rhythms\, and energies con
verge\, the work explores belonging\, shared ecstasy\, and the delicate per
formance of harmony.\n\nInspired by pagan processions\, eleven performers c
hant on stage\, tirelessly repeating a choral chant that resembles an insis
tent prayer. The scene\, at first inoffensive and naïve\, gradually become
s more complex\, culminating in an almost psychedelic\, hallucinogenic effe
 ct.\n\nWith ODE\, Catherine Gaudet transports us into a surreal\, exalted u
niverse\, imbued with an extreme desire for harmony\, coupled with palpable
ambiguity. For this new creation\, the choreographer offers an unclassifia
ble work\, striking in its singularity\, somewhere between sacrificial rite
  and pop-rock show.\n\nWith humour\, intensity\, and visceral physicality\,
ODE asks what it means to come together—and what it takes to hold a comm
unity in balance.\n\nThis presentation is not suitable for children.\n\nhtt
