DESCRIPTION:Friddays Explore a wild range of electronic sounds during this 
 4-week class\; students will learn the basics of keyboard (piano)\, learn s
 ome music theory through video\, practical application\, and discussion\, a
 nd jam with their peers!\n\nPlease note that this class is best suited for 
 artists who:\n\n• are comfortable with tasks that require focused attenti
 on\, repetition\, and the development of fine motor skills\,\n• are inter
 ested in learning a foundational level of music theory.\n• love learning 
 and are willing to explore and practice material outside of class time to p
 rogress in the class as a group\,\n• have an instrument at home they can 
 use to practice (but not necessary)\n\nA keyboard will be provided to artis
 ts by the NaAC to use during the class.\n\nAbout the Facilitator:\n\nAdo Nk
 emka (A.N.) is a musician and multidisciplinary writer (playwriting\, journ
 alism\, poetry). Through her work\, she interrogates power while improving 
 her relationship to self and to the world. She has performed at One Yellow 
 Rabbit’s High Performance Rodeo\, Sled Island Music Festival\, SoundOFF S
 ummit\, and has toured regionally. Her music has been broadcasted across Ca
 nadian radio stations including CBC\, CKUA\, X.92.9\, UMFM. She most recent
 ly brought her play “I’m Not Afraid to Die Anymore\, The Pop-Rock Music
