 ami and Movement Workshop co-facilitated by visual artist Miya Turnbull (Ha
 lifax) and dance artist Shion Skye Carter (Vancouver) is presented in conju
 nction with their performance Omote (面). Participants will learn how to f
 old Miya’s self-portrait origami designs\, shaping the paper portraits in
 to interactive designs emphasizing identity as something formed through ges
 ture\, pressure\, and process.\n\nThis workshop and the performance Omote (
 面) is co-presented by Esker Foundation and Springboard Performance as par
