SUMMARY:Contemporary Kids: Press Into Fall
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special workshop with artists Samantha Leriger an
 d Monica Ila. Get ready to design\, press\, and create! Kids will explore c
 olours and shapes as they turn a plain canvas tote into their own artwork i
 n this vinyl heat press workshop. Inspired by the changes in nature and the
  autumn season\, we will cut and layer vinyl before using a heat press to b
 ring their compositions to life!\n\nNo experience needed—just bring your 
 imagination\, get creative\, and take home a unique tote bag!\n\nKids are a
 lso welcome to bring one piece of their own fabric or cloth to this activit
 y. Please make sure it is made from 100% natural fibres\, such as cotton or
  linen.\n\nSafety note: As this workshop uses a heat press to transfer viny
 l to fabric\, high temperatures are involved and there is a risk of heat-re
 lated injuries. The artists will supervise and assist participants in using
  the heat press safely.\n\nOur Free onsite Contemporary Kids programs invit
 e children to learn about modern and contemporary art through unique and en
 gaging art activities.\n\nFor children ages 5-12. Maximum group of 20 child
 ren\, with one guardian per child.\n\nContemporary Calgary Educational Prog
 rams are often photographed. This photography includes the participants\, p
 arents or guardians and their creations. If you wish not to be photographed
 \, please let Contemporary Calgary education staff know upon arrival\, and
