 s presented in conjunction with their performance Omote (面). \n\nParticip
 ants will learn how to fold Miya’s self-portrait origami designs\, shapin
 g the paper portraits into interactive designs emphasizing identity as some
 thing formed through gesture\, pressure\, and process. The origami sculptur
 es will then be used in an improvised movement practice led by Shion\, insp
 ired by paper folding and unfolding and embodying themes of repetition\, tr
 ansformation\, and multiplicity.\n\nThis workshop is open-level and suited 
 to all ages\; for younger children\, assistance from an adult is requested.
