DESCRIPTION:Libraries and Cultural Resources recently acquired an important
  collection of art by Treaty 7 artists–many of whom have a significant re
 lationship with the University of Calgary. Installed on each floor of the T
 aylor Family Digital Library they enhance awareness of the Indigenous peopl
 es of Treaty 7\, celebrating their creativity and resilience. Highlights in
 clude works by 2023 Governor Award winner\, David Garneau\; Alex Janvier\; 
 Adrian Stimson and Joane Cardinal Schubert.\n\nJoin Kaia MacLeod for an int
 imate tour of the collection. MacLeod is a member of the James Smith Cree N
 ation and is the University of Calgary’s Indigenous Cataloguing Librarian
 . She received her MLIS from the University of Alberta\, as well as a BA ma
