DESCRIPTION:Libraries and Cultural Resources recently acquired an important
  collection of art by Treaty 7 artists – many of whom have a significant 
 relationship with the University of Calgary. Installed on each floor of the
  Taylor Family Digital Library\, they enhance awareness of the Indigenous p
 eoples of Treaty 7\, celebrating their creativity and resilience. Highlight
 s include works by 2023 Governor Award winner\, David Garneau\; Alex Janvie
 r\; Adrian Stimson and Joane Cardinal Schubert.\n\nJoin Kaia MacLeod for an
  intimate tour of the collection. MacLeod is a member of the James Smith Cr
 ee Nation and is the University of Calgary’s Indigenous Cataloguing Libra
