DESCRIPTION:Join Canadian Folk Music Award\, Western Canadian Music Award\,
  and Juno-Nominated Burnstick (Jason & Nadia Burnstick) for a community wor
 kshop on writing music for songs\, sound design\, and film and television. 
 Through conversation and storytelling\, Burnstick will share insights into 
 their creative practice\, exploring how music carries story\, memory\, and 
 identity across different mediums.\n\nThe session will also delve into how 
 some of Burnstick's own songs were written\, tracing the inspirations\, sto
 ries\, and moments that shaped them.\n\nThe workshop will touch on personal
  and professional experiences\, creative decision-making\, and the role of 
 sound in shaping emotion for both music and screen. Open to all\, this work
 shop centres on listening\, reflection\, and dialogue\, creating space for 
 questions\, shared learning\, and community connection.\n\nAttendees under 
 the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian and be able to sit quietly
