DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 1.5 hour workshop where we learn about the Indige
 nous art of bead work and create an identity flag-inspired necklace or brac
 elet! This is a free\, introductory\, beginner level workshop facilitated b
 y Kida Luttrell and hosted by Calgary Outlink.\n\nThis event is a collabora
 tion between our Colleqtive and Between Men community groups. The event is 
 open to the following community members:\n\n– Racialized 2SLGBTQ+ communi
 ty members of any gender. This includes community members who are Black\, I
 ndigenous\, and people of colour.\n\n– Queer men of any racial identity\,
  including cis men\, trans men\, transmasculine people\, and anyone under t
 he masculine identity umbrella who is gay\, bi\, pan\, toric\, queer\, ques
 tioning\, or are otherwise attracted to guys.\n\nAbout The Workshop Facilit
 ator: Kida Luttrell (they/them) is a Cree multidisciplinary artist and bead
 worker living in Treaty 7 otôskwânihk\, who explores the intersections of
  queerness\, disability and their mixed race identity through their art.\n\
