DESCRIPTION:The Calgary Italian Festival is an all-inclusive event inviting
  all Calgarians to explore\, enjoy and learn about Italian culture. The day
  is filled with many food vendors sharing their wonderful Italian recipes a
 nd delights. Wine is available at the festival. Artisans including jeweller
 y makers\, candle makers\, macrame\, authors\, and more. There will be arti
 sts painting live\, entertainment for the kids - face painting\, glitter ta
 ttoo\, painting their own mural.\n\nBesides that we will have wonderful ent
 ertainment\, including the Calgary Opera\, Greg\, our wandering accordianis
 t\, Italian dancers\, Italian choir\, an Italian fashion show\, Tony Scaffe
 o and DJ Miko entertaining the crowd with their brilliant talent.\n\nContes
 ts - pasta eating contest\, pizza making contest\, grape stomping contest!\
