 in the modern era in the woods outside Berlin.\n\nI will play lute\, theorb
 o\, and classical guitar. - Kat Hammer\n\nKat Hammer has been an active per
 former in Canada for over 20 years\, appearing as both a soloist and chambe
 r musician. Her repertoire spans from Renaissance and Baroque works on lute
  and early guitar to contemporary compositions for classical guitar.\n\nShe
  is known for thoughtful\, engaging performances that highlight the express
 ive possibilities of plucked string instruments. In 2025\, her solo lute an
 d baroque guitar album Standards was nominated for a YYC Music Award for Cl
 assical Album of the Year\, reflecting both her artistry and her commitment
  to bringing refined\, accessible performances to a wide audience.\n\nKatâ€
