DESCRIPTION:“What does transformation mean to you?”\n\nOur youth artist
 s’ response to this question is encapsulated in the animations they creat
 ed. Using mixed media animation\, they drew on lived experience as well as 
 fairytales\, mythology\, and science\, and used these frameworks as a gatew
 ay to express their ideas and personal narratives surrounding growing up\, 
 politics\, mortality\, and transformation through their eyes—perspectives
  shaped by navigating a world of constant change and upheaval.\n\nOver thre
 e days of a fall break Youth Animation Camp facilitated by Quickdraw Animat
 ion Society\, the 21 youth learned how to create traditional animations usi
 ng pre-existing footage\, while experimenting with different methods and me
 diums to bring their concepts to life. Alongside the completed works\, the 
 exhibition also presents process material and sketches\, offering insight i
 nto the creative journey and the evolution of ideas from concept to the fin
