 multi-movement vocal compositions)\, presented in partnership with Early Mu
 sic Voices. Featuring soprano Maya Kherani alongside Andrea Case on baroque
  cello\, Michel Angers on theorbo and guitar\, and Justin Luchinski on harp
 sichord\, On Stage: Solitaria brings together three rarely heard works writ
 ten between 1707 and 1709 during Handel’s years in Italy.\n\nThese cantat
 as were never intended for grand concert halls. Written for private salons 
 and small gatherings\, they unfold like personal confessions\, like one voi
 ce carried by the delicate colours of a few instruments. Each work tells th
 e story of someone wrestling with powerful emotions: love\, grief\, frustra
