  the power of photography as a recollective device. With a key focus on his
  historic Building on the Bow book project and a secondary focus on Front S
 treet in Lahaina this presentation considers photography as both a record a
 nd a participant in history—capturing fleeting moments while becoming par
 t of an ongoing continuum. The accompanying exhibition\, printed on handmad
