DESCRIPTION:Celebrating its 10th year in Calgary\, the RBC Race for the Kid
 s is a family-friendly day that includes a 6-km run along scenic pathways o
 verlooking the Glenmore Reservoir\, a pancake breakfast\, and a full day of
  family fun. Registration includes a performance race T-shirt\, a completio
 n medal\, all-day access to Heritage Park\, kid-friendly entertainment\, sn
 acks and more (valued at more than $80)! Registrants can also choose to com
 plete a shorter 1.7km circuit inside the park —this is a favourite for fa
 milies with little ones.\n\nSince it began in 2017\, the RBC Race for the K
 ids has raised more than $4.1 million in support of the increasing number o
 f kids in our community who need mental health resources. The race helped c
 reate Calgary’s first community-based mental health centre for kids\, The
  Summit\, which opened its doors in the spring of 2023\, and funds programs
  and research specific to youth mental health that will help kids now and f
