DESCRIPTION:As part of Congress After Dark\, Curio: A Kinky Talent Show & O
 pen Mic is an inclusive event that celebrates the diverse talent and creati
 vity within our scene & community. This event aims to provide a safe and we
 lcoming space for individuals to showcase their talents & skills\, whether 
 through kink performance\, music\, poetry\, comedy\, spoken word\, performa
 nce art\, or other forms of expression using a talent show/open mic format!
 \n\nThis isn't about polished performances. We are looking for vulnerabilit
 y\, creativity\, curiosity\, passion\, and enthusiasm. This event is all ab
 out providing people with the opportunity to scratch that performance itch 
 in front of a friendly audience.\n\nDon't want to perform? That's great too
 ! We want to make sure we fill the house with a warm and supportive audienc
 e - keep your judgemental pants at home. It takes a lot of hit the stage an
 d share something like this\, so the more people who come out to support th
 e performers\, the better!\n\nHow does it work?\n\nSign up starts at 6:30pm
 . If you want to perform\, show up and put yourself on the list! There will
  be up to eight (8) slots available and no signing up in advance.\n\nShow s
 tarts at 7pm sharp.\n\nPerformers will get up to 15 minutes to perform.\n\n
 How much does it cost?\n\nAdmission is $15 per person and space is limited.
  Tickets can be purchased in advance and at the door (cash only\, please).\
 n\nPLEASE NOTE: We acknowledge that charging an admission fee may be a barr
 ier for some to attend. If this is the case and you would still like to att
 end\, please reach out!\n\nAll performers will be reimbursed their admissio
 n fee with the remaining funds going towards grassroots\, community driven 
 organizations. We will also happily accept additional cash donations at the
