It’s only fitting to begin with their 1971 release Sticky Fingers\, a chart-topping record and the deb ut on their own label. Released April 23\, 1971\, the album blends raw rock \, country\, blues\, and soul into a cohesive\, era-defining sound. Conceived by Rolling Stones tour manager Ian Stewart and built in 1968\, the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio (RSM) was the first-ever professional mobi le recording studio\, built to accommodate the band’s wild 24-hour lifest yle.
