DESCRIPTION:Celebrating its 10th year in Calgary\, the RBC Race for the Kid
 s is a family-friendly day that includes a 6-km run or walk along the Glenm
 ore Reservoir\, a pancake breakfast\, and a full day of family fun. Registr
 ation includes a performance race T-shirt\, a completion medal\, all-day ac
 cess to Heritage Park\, kid-friendly entertainment\, snacks and more (value
 d at more than $80)! Registrants can also choose to complete a shorter 1.7-
 km circuit inside the park – this is a favourite for families with little
  ones. \n\nSince it began in 2017\, the RBC Race for the Kids has raised mo
 re than $4.1 million in support of the increasing number of kids in our com
 munity who need mental health resources. The race helped create Calgary’s
  first community-based mental health centre for kids\, The Summit\, which o
 pened its doors in the spring of 2023\, and funds programs and research spe
 cific to youth mental health that will help kids now and for generations to
  come. \n\nIn honor of 10 years\, early birds can save $10 on registration
