SUMMARY:Mother Mother
DESCRIPTION:Globally successful alt-rock phenomenon Mother Mother celebrate
their 20th anniversary with the release of their 10th studio album\, Nosta
lgia. This 12-track song-cycle reveals a sonic palette that calls back to t
heir earlier works\, while simultaneously pushing further into the stellar
regions of melodic rock and glam-pop\; they fearlessly charge forth into of
ten lyrically and emotionally uncomfortable terrain.\n\nComprised of Ryan G
 uldemond (vocals\, guitar)\, Molly Guldemond (vocals\, keys)\, Jasmin Parki
n (vocals\, keys)\, Ali Siadat (drums) and Mike Young (bass)\, Mother Mothe
r have achieved something few acts get the chance to: freedom in creativity
\, resulting in a record that feels both true to their legacy and gesturing
towards the decades that lay ahead.\n\nFor reasons unknown\, their 2008 fa
n-favorite single “Hayloft” (from O My Heart) was resurrected by fans j
ust as the pandemic lockdown hit and burst into a supernova of social posts
\, which spawned a purely organic TikTok revolution and led the track to be
come certified Platinum in the US. Demand from fans sparked a reprised cont
inuation of the song's harrowing narrative\, resulting in the Gold-certifie
d “Hayloft II\,” which debuted in the Top 10 of Spotify's Global Top So
ngs Debut chart and has surpassed 1.2 billion global streams and 830 millio
n YouTube views. Their 2021 album Inside garnered in excess of 1.5 billion
global streams alone. Following a successful European stadium tour with Ima
gine Dragons and a string of festival shows\, Mother Mother documented the
tour with a live EP Live from Santiago de Compostela (2022) and followed wi
th their 9th album Grief Chapter (2024).\n\nSince then\, the quintet has re
lentlessly toured the world\, playing festivals and headlining prestigious
venues including London’s Brixton Academy and Red Rocks in Denver. Their
ambitious career has produced 10 studio albums\, four live albums\, 35 sing
les and videos and a pair of EPs. To date\, the band has amassed 8.6 billio
n global streams across their bursting catalog and garnered 5.2 million fol
lowers across social platforms. The Vancouver\, BC based collective release
d their most adventurous work to date\, Nostalgia on June 6th\, 2025.\n\nht
