SUMMARY:Matters of Rhythm & Harmony – Relaxed Performance
DESCRIPTION:A relaxed performance is designed for audience members who may 
 benefit from a more flexible environment including neurodivergent individua
 ls\, people with disabilities\, or anyone for whom the traditional live per
 formance experience can be challenging. These performances also offer a wel
 coming space for families and young children discovering live dance for the
  first time. Relaxed performances are the only opportunity during our seaso
 n where children do not need their own ticket to attend if they are sitting
  on a guardian’s lap\, making them an ideal introduction to live performa
 nce for little ones. Everyone is welcome to attend.\n\nThe main goal of a r
 elaxed performance is to “relax” the theatre experience through small c
 hanges to the audience expectations\, environment and production.\n\nExpect
 ations of complete silence and complete stillness in the audience during th
 e performance will be relaxed to accommodate people for whom this is not re
 alistic.\nPatrons are welcome to come and go from the performance.\nA “ch
 ill zone” will be set up in a designated space for patrons to use.\nHouse
  lighting in the auditorium will not be lowered to complete darkness during
  the production.\nPerformance aspects such as abrupt lighting\, sounds\, or
