2026 Spring Market Collective

Market Collective returns to Contemporary Calgary this spring from April 10 - 12, 2026, bringing together a curated lineup of local artists, makers, culinary creators, and vintage curators for a weekend full of art workshops, food trucks, community connection, and more. This spring market is the first to put a major emphasis on participatory art experience, with the goal of fostering local artistic talent from an early age. Since Market Collective debuted in 2008, its mission has always been to provide support and resources for local artists pursuing their craft in our city. Today, participating artists continue to receive 100% of their sales, allowing each business the opportunity to scale to their fullest potential. The Spring Market’s newest home at Contemporary Calgary further underscores the organization’s commitment to the arts. This season, the Market Collective team is excited to welcome the following new artists to the roster: Constant Leather, Ben Conley Photography, Mauricio’s Garden, Emerson’s Cree Designs, Kwosel, By_Dyl, Non-Fiction Press, The Spruce Nook and True North Cider. These budding artists will be featured amongst longstanding Market Collective artists Jae Polgar, Wild Ways Vintage, Slim Chance Glass, Bugslam, Darlings of Denmark, Elser Walton, Baby Tree Woodworks, and Reem’s Kitchen. The market’s $10 admission grants each visitor access to Market Collective, as well as Contemporary Calgary’s exhibitions and workshops. The weekend will feature special pop-ups and activities including: Fresh spring bouquets provided by Grasslands Flower Co. Shopping at the All Things GQ Vintage Bus Bagels and tartines from Deputy Bagel YYC Food Trucks in the front plaza Drop-in Exhibition Tour: 1 pm on April 11-12 Drop-in Art Making Sessions: 11 am to 4 pm on April 11-12
