The newly revitalized St. Patrick’s Island reopened in July 2015, welcoming all Calgarians to experience urban amenities within a natural setting.

The 31-acre park offers a playground, picnic area, seasonal breach, fishing cove, a plaza and amphitheatre with room for programming, and a rise that offers some of the best views in the city.

St. Patrick’s Island can be accessed from the George C. King pedestrian bridge, or from the West zoo parking lot.
