The Glass House Fine Art Collective is Canada’s first touring interactive glass blowing show that brings art, education and entertainment to communities across the country in a custom designed studio.

This endeavor was created by two professional glass blowers Mandy Patchin and Kai Scholefield. They wanted to share this experience with as many people as possible whether it is a hands on learning experience, watching from the crowd or walking away with a unique piece of glass art. To make this a mobile hot shop imagine a moving truck, the side of the box lowers like a draw bridge, becoming  a giant stage. Inside, is a hot glassblowing studio where once-solid glass becomes a liquid, dripping and oozing at 1200 Degrees Celsius.

On stage professional glassblowers present this ancient and exotic discipline to the people by shaping liquid glass into beautiful work. That once-boring moving truck has transformed into a thrilling, humorous and mobile live glass blowing experience.
