It's a pretty good bet that Calgarians who lived 100 years ago would never have imagined there'd be a restaurant in the saddlery on Stephen Avenue Walk.
But today, the renovated building is home to Blink Restaurant and Bar, an intimate space that serves up inspired food made with local ingredients. There's not a saddle in sight, but there are 62 seats (plus more at the bar) for diners who are looking for a night out dining on contemporary food in an atmosphere that's both rustic and modern.
Blink is open for lunch and dinner, as well as "late night" on Fridays and Saturdays, where you can stop in for appetizers, dessert, and a drink. The restaurant's wine list features selections from family-run wineries in California, the Pacific Northwest, Canada, and Europe.
