Calgary is home to Canada’s longest running marathon and from May 24-26, 2013 will celebrate the 49th Annual Scotiabank Calgary Marathon Race Weekend.

The Scotiabank Calgary Marathon is a challenging, competitive and fun event with a race designed for everyone of any level. Races include the Scotiabank Marathon, Centaur Subaru half marathon, The Jugo Juice 10K, AstraZeneca 5K Walk and Run or Scotiabank Kids Marathon.

With a two day Health and Wellness Expo, the new Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge and race day festivities, the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon is more than a race - it is a spirited community event that celebrates sportsmanship, healthy lifestyles and community participation. In 2012 over 11, 000 participants took to the streets and over $700,000 was raised for 40 charities. .
