The Second Annual Angus Cattle Run
The annual Angus Cattle Run is a 5K family fun-run in support of the Calgary Food Bank's Children's Milk Program. Participants are encouraged to express their spirit and dress as cowboys, cowgirls, western zombies, rodeo clowns, horses, even cattle. Prizes will be awarded to the runners with the most imaginative and artistic costumes. There is a $20 entry fee, and it includes a $15 tax reciept. The Angus Cattle Run is one of the fundraising events for Put the Boots to Hunger, a food and fund drive held during the ten days of Stampede.
