On December 10, West Campus Development Trust is pleased to host Northwestival, the most wonderful winter festival of Calgary’s northwest featuring seasonal fun activities, local food and music, art and performances for all ages. Northwestival will feature: - DIY winter workshops from ugly holiday sweaters to modern wreaths. - Local eats from YYC Food Trucks, maple taffy Sugar Shack and hot drink stations. - Snowy Owl Sled Dogs, snow shoes and fat tire winter cycling. - Fire-pit s’more stations for tasty treats - A musical parade led by Calgary’s own internationally renowned pianist Derek Chiu - Live entertainment including fire performers, the Stetson Show Band, Children’s Choir, - Pulse Dance Studio, Thundering Nations, and The Rondel Roberts Band - A different kind of winter sleighing experience - Innovative and creative art installations including an interactive musical Christmas tree and Furbaniture designed for University District Admission is by donation of a non-perishable food item, part of the onsite food drive to raise 800 lbs. of food for the Calgary Food Bank. Northwestival is open to Calgarians and visitors of all ages, and is dog-friendly.
