Calgary European Film Festival invites movie lovers to the best of European cinema. The Second Edition of the Calgary European Film Festival (CEFF) will take place November 15-17, at the Globe Cinema, with five European countries bringing the exquisite art of European cinema to Calgary. Bulgaria, Romania, France, Poland, and the Czech Republic will be represented this year throughout the three day event. The cinemas in these countries gained a lot of recognition during the last few years, because of the award-winning young directors representing the new wave. This year the festival is organized through a partnership between the Romanian Canadian Cultural Association of Calgary (RCCAC), Calgary Bulgarian Society (CBS), cIneMAGINE Society and Alliance Française de Calgary, Polish Canadian Cultural Centre and Czech Business Association of Canada. This festival has started two years ago, as the Calgary Romanian Film Festival.
