Calgary Opera is one of Canada’s most innovative and exciting professional opera companies. Established in 1972, the company is celebrated for its commitment to the development of Canadian talent and new opera works.

Each season, Calgary Opera presents three full-scale operas, from traditional masterpieces to world premieres. Mainstage productions are performed at Calgary’s Jubilee Auditorium. The company also hosts a variety of opera related events and fundraisers at other locales throughout the year.
