Visit Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park to discover the rich culture and traditions of the Blackfoot people. Steeped in thousands of years of history, the park features sights, sounds and experiences you won’t find anywhere else.
At the heart of the park stands a stunning, 62,000 square foot building that houses fascinating exhibits and interactive displays. The building’s Vision Quest Theatre offers informative presentations on Blackfoot culture, as well as seasonal dance performances.
Beyond the building, visitors can wander the park’s various historical sites and monuments on their own or with a guide. At the Tipi Village, local interpreters demonstrate traditional craft and survival skills, such as tipi making, meat smoking and hide tanning.
Blackfoot Crossing also features a gift shop and an on-site restaurant that serves traditional Blackfoot fare. The park is located just 100 km east of Calgary.
