Push Play - Year of Music Toolkit

Year of Music

With so much happening in Calgary’s music scene, 2016 promises to be a remarkable year for visitors and locals alike.

With over 30 music-related festivals, the 45th annual JUNO Awards, the opening of Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre, major anniversaries, new arts spaces and events, our city will shine as a music hub throughout 2016.

This is a great opportunity for Tourism Calgary partners to come together and promote our region’s arts and cultural scene, broadening perceptions of this industry through local, regional, and national promotional initiatives.

Push Play

Push Play, the Year of Music’s positioning and campaign, is a year-round initiative to spark excitement for visitors to experience the many great music events Calgary has to offer in 2016.

The Push Play landing page (pushplaycalgary.com) features an events calendar, allowing visitors to explore what events are coming up and offers them tools to plan their trip to the City.

Throughout the year, Push Play will highlight Calgary’s music scene through a variety of content initiatives and campaigns showcasing why 2016 is the Year of Music for our city.
