Calgary Folk Music Festival

Military Museum

Lougheed House

Built in 1891 and originally known as Beaulieu, French for beautiful place, Lougheed House is now a non-profit, National Historic Site located in the Beltline district of Calgary.

Heritage Park: Canmore Opera House

Built 1898, as the world’s only log opera house, it was used to host a variety of community events and performances. This national treasure was re-opened in 2010 and has been restored to its original glory as a performing arts centre.

The Grain Academy and Museum presents the wonderful world of grains and oilseeds through exhibits, touch TV’s and film presentations. It also houses Calgary’s largest model railway display and a working model of the wooden grain elevator.
