Who is k.d. lang?

k.d. lang is one of Canada’s biggest musical stars, rising to international fame with hits like Constant Craving, Miss Chatelaine, and her cover of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah. She first rose to fame after performing at the closing ceremonies of the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. The Juno and Grammy award winner has collaborated with everyone from Roy Orbison and Elton John to Tony Bennett and Anne Murray. A member of the Order of Canada, k.d. lang celebrates the 25th anniversary of her platinum selling album Ingénue with a cross country tour that comes to Calgary this August. k.d. lang is also being celebrated with the Big, Big Love exhibit at Studio Bell this summer.
