1. BADLANDS HOODOOS

In the Blackfoot and Cree traditions, the Hoodoos are believed to be petrified giants who come alive at night to hurl rocks at intruders. So tread carefully.

2. COWBOY TRAIL

Take in a prairie sunset the way they were meant to be. Alberta’s Cowboy trail takes you to where the prairie sky and Rocky Mountains converge. 

3. JOHNSTON CANYON

Walk through the tunnel at the end of the trail and find out how it feels to step into your own real life version of Narnia. 

4. HERITAGE PARK SS MOYIE

Real life can be a riverboat fantasy. As the SS Moyie turns at the Glenmore Reservoir there is a spectacular view of Calgary’s downtown.

5.  BANFF GONDOLA

Toe the line and walk 1km along the summit ridge that will lead you to the Cosmic Ray Station National Historic Site of Canada.

6. SCOTTSMAN HILL

Have a seat on a bench and take in the best vantage point the city has to offer.
